Director of Audiology | Audiologist

Dr. Rikard earned her doctorate in Audiology from The University of Arizona, and has been employed with ENTcare for over 20 years. As director of Physicians Hearing Center, she has led her team to be awarded one of the largest practice in the US over the past 15 years by the nationally known American Hearing Aid Association. Locally, the community has chosen Physicians Hearing Center the "best hearing aid provider" for 20 years in the Dothan Eagle's best of the wiregrass competition.  

Julie Ann believes in making a difference in people's lives through building relationships with each person and providing the highest level of care. She does this by focusing on each person's individual needs. Hearing is happiness, and Julie Ann's goal is to help you gain true hearing aid success!

Audiologist

Gracie Thoman Herndon holds a doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She graduated with her bachelor of science from Columbus State University in 1982. She then earned her master's from Louisiana Tech in 1987. Dr. Herndon has been employed with ENTCare for 30 years. She has been counseling and fitting 100% digital hearing aids for the past 12 years. 

Physicians Hearing Center has become the largest hearing aid provider in the Southeast for this size of practice, and this success rate can be contributed to Gracie’s true desire to help people hear well again. Gracie is board certified in Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA), American Hearing Aid Association (AHAA), and the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA). She enjoys traveling, farming, and fishing with her husband.

Clinical Audiologist & Technology Specialist

Dr. Ellis earned her degree from Auburn University in 2012. She has eight years of clinical experience including a background in an ENT setting and specialty work with Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Ellis's areas of special interest include hearing aid technology and diagnostic pediatrics. Blakely is here to serve individuals who have become disconnected and frustrated due to their hearing difficulties.
